Rules

  1. Submitted projects must exclusively feature Axis Mundi Games models currently visible in the Axis Mundi Store.
  2. Projects finished before the publication of this set of rules are fully valid entries.
  3. Models previously submitted to any past Axis Mundi Games painting contests cannot be submitted.
  4. Participants may submit multiple entries. However, only one entry per participant will be taken into consideration for judging. The judges will evaluate all submitted works by each participant and select the single entry that best represents their skill for final assessment.
  5. Scenic bases are fully allowed, and you are not required to use only the base that is delivered with the model; also, any piece of scenery from any brand, 3D-printed pieces, and natural materials are allowed so you can express your creativity and build a fitting narrative, provided the core Axis Mundi model remains the clearly identifiable centerpiece of the project. Scenery size must be adapted to the model’s size in order to complement it and not drown it out.
  6. Participants must choose between two categories: Standard (open to all painters looking to test their skills) and Master (dedicated to experienced painters).
  7. The judges reserve the right to move an entry from Standard to Master.
  8. Send your entries via email to contest@axismundigames.com using the subject line: Contest 2026 – [Your Nickname] – [Standard or Master]. Attach up to 4 pictures per project directly to the email. Include in the email body any nickname and social media links you would like to be published along with your entry.
  9. Collages will not be accepted.
  10. Please make sure not to put watermarks or logos on the images.
  11. The ending date for all submissions is August 25, 2026.
  12. Judging will be carried out during the month following the ending date, evaluating technical painting skill, creativity/originality, and overall presentation.
  13. The results will be announced on the Axis Mundi Games social media pages and via email to the winners.
  14. All qualifying submissions will be showcased on our official website.
  15. By submitting pictures for the contest, participants grant Axis Mundi Games the authorization to use them for a gallery and for any future communication deemed necessary.
